Hi Everyone-

Well, it's time for the season to finish off, and I would like to say that when I took this job back in April of this year I was real uncertain of what I was getting into. Could I do it? Would I like it? Would I stay with it?

Now that I look back through out this year, I can honestly say I love my job and all the great new friends I have made and cannot imagine doing anything else at this point in my life. This year has flew by, and I am already looking ahead to new things for next year. I would truly like to thank each and everyone of you for all the help and patience I have been given. Racing truly is a family of it's own.

Now- to the more serious stuff.

Dec 13 will be our final race for this season, and we have alot going on that day. It will be our final Mega 10 Race for 08. Drawings will be held and all awards presented this day. Anyone that participated in at least 7 races, will be in the drawing to win. (If you not sure how many you attended, let me know and I will look it up)

IHRA Points Awards will also be given out this day. We need the top 10 winners for Pro & Footbrake present at 1:00 this day to recieve their award. 

 

The schedule for next season is in the works, but I don't have the date yet of the first race. As soon as I know, I will let everyone know.

Ok everyone- We had a really Great Day today!!!  We had a pretty good turn out. Ben pulled off everything he promised and we had an all around GREAT DAY........     GREAT JOB EVERYONE!!!!!!

WOW!!  I don't know where to begin to describe yesterdays event. We opened the gates @ 9:00 yesterday morning and closed  @ 2 this morning.  
 
The NOS Shoot out was put on by Rod Hatch and Kenny Scott and they showed they knew how to pack the house. We also had extra announcing skills of Eugene from Dallas County Dragway. (Sorry I didn't get your last name Eugene)
It was nice meeting you guys, and I look forward to working with you again!  
 
We had a couple of pretty bad oil spills- and we thank the Dallas County guys for kicking in and helping on cleaning. But other than those spills, the track never stopped all day.

Anyone planning on attending Bracket Finals in Steele with needs to make sure they talk to me by the race this Saturday Oct 20th, if you haven't already. I have to turn in tshirts orders on the 22.

Also, for any spouses of racers attending- if you would like to volunteer to help or have any ideas for Finals- we will be holding a meeting at the race this weekend. Please contribute any ideas you may have.
